Todd Hitchcock, President

 Todd Hitchcock is the President of Red Leaf Advising, an educational advising company that provides strategic and operational advisory services to education institutions, companies who serve education institutions, and private equity firms investing in the education sector.

Previously, Todd served as the Chief Operating Officer of Pearson Embanet where he set the strategic direction for the group, managed day-to-day operations, and was responsible for growing the business.  Prior to this, Todd held the role of Senior Vice President for Pearson Learning Solutions where he led the development of a number of online learning solutions.  Before joining Pearson, Todd led the Global Services division for Florida Virtual School, the legislatively-directed commercial division that generated profit for the school and state by providing online learning solutions to numerous schools, districts, states, and countries around the world.

Mr. Hitchcock has a combination of educational, governmental, and commercial experience.  He is an advocate for educational improvement through innovative technologies and the democratization of education.  Mr. Hitchcock has served on the Board of Directors for the United States Distance Learning Association, the Advisory Board of Ed Tech Times, and has served as an executive on the Board of Directors for the International Association for K-12 Online Learning.
